Just in time for Thanksgiving, we redesigned one of Nickelodeon’s premier family events, the HALO Awards, with a graphic light package full of neon, transparency, and plenty of good vibrations.
HALO stands for “Helping And Leading Others,” which the HALO Awards show celebrates each November with chart-topping musical acts, network stars, and a series of wild and hilarious challenges that help raise money for the celebrities’ chosen causes.
We created the logo for the 2016 HALO Awards, as well as the look and feel of its one-hour live telecast hosted by Nick Cannon, and lots of templates for promos and other elements for use in on-air, off-air and social media marketing leading up to the event.
The HALO Awards are all about creating a “ripple effect” of giving back. It’s a lovely, effervescent mission that we injected our materials with by making them as bright and airy as can be, like rays of sunlight skipping across a pond.
Layers of vivid neon and luminescent style frames packed with eye-popping gradients, transparencies and overlapping colors brighten up Nick’s halo of light, and help spread the message to young people that giving back isn’t just the right thing to do – it’s a whole lot of fun.
